TDLS 2025!
March 7 and 8, 2025 - A hybrid conference at the Long Beach School for Adults
The Technology and Digital Learning Symposium, hosted by OTAN, is an annual hybrid conference featuring engaging, interactive presentations and vibrant discussions. This event is designed to demonstrate effective ways of incorporating technology to enrich the learning experience, expand educational reach through a combination of in-person and online learning, and improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of adult education programs.
TDLS caters to a diverse audience including educators, coordinators, administrators, and support personnel within California adult education agencies. Additionally, it is relevant for adult education professionals working within school districts, community colleges, community or faith-based organizations, volunteer literacy programs, nonprofit agencies (both public and private), public libraries, state institutions, and correctional facilities.
Three-Year Plan Template
The much awaited; Three-Year template is ready for download. It provides a high-level outline of the required sections for the Three-Year Plan, including fillable text boxes and checklists aligned with NOVA. CAEP consortia can use this document to prepare content for submission into NOVA, which serves as the official approved plan.
California Adult Education Program
Building Partnerships that Count
Be Proud – California is Diverse. Just as our regional economies are diverse across California, so are the adult learners that live in, and contribute to, their communities. Because of this diversity, CAEP empowers 71 regional consortia to design innovations and best practices that align with the goals of adult learners; these innovations are in turn shared among consortium members and partner agencies, sparking a synergistic trading of ideas and a vibrant, growing body of knowledge.
The high quality programs and practices developed through the integration of K-12 adult education and community college resources on a regional level are uniquely suited to equip all available workers with the tools they need to contribute to California’s economic growth.
There are close to 400 CAEP members and more than 1,000 community partners within our 71 consortia that work synergistically through our multiple partner locations in every part of the state to create available access points for adult learners.
